Shirley Temple Black passed away today at age 85. I spent countless hours as a kid watching this optimistic and cute, curly-haired and dimpled dynamo’s movies. I came across this wonderful tribute to her: Shirley Temple – America’s Little Darling, narrated by another great musical star and hoofer – Tommy Tune.

And after you are done watching it, take a look at some of the other video highlights also on this page, include her tribute at The Kennedy Center Honors. Thanks Shirley for all the happy memories and for the joy you brought the world through your films and life.
